Responsibilities

  • This role focuses on assembling electrical and mechanical components by following detailed assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists
  • You will prepare materials, use hand and power tools, and perform precise wiring tasks to build high-quality products in a fast-paced production environment
  • Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, and by gathering all required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
  • Position parts and subassemblies accurately by using templates and reading measurements to ensure correct placement and fit
  • Tighten and fasten prefabricated electrical or electronic parts and install components, units, subassemblies, raceways, wiring, and assembly casings using rivets, bolts, screws, clamps, and similar hardware
  • Prepare wire by identifying and separating wire by color, trimming, clipping, and tinning wires and leads, wiring according to predetermined specifications, connecting wire to pre-connected wiring devices, and packaging wire for kits
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and securely fastening parts and subassemblies to meet quality standards
